You may recognize the name Pure Barre from some previous posts – as one of my new fitness obsessions. I absolutely love everything about Pure Barre and cannot say enough about the positive impact that Pure Barre has had on my life. My particular Pure Barre Studio is Pure Barre Wexford.
Pure Barre is a low impact, high intensity workout – this article gives some great background on what can be accomplished in Pure Barre: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/heck-pure-barre-why-athletes-093031032.html;_ylt=AwrBEiSi_79TbgwAMQ1NbK5_
I will be sure to write my own class review later on – but the above article does give you a great overview of class.
Through Pure Barre I have drastically changed my outlook on what I can accomplish and met so many amazing and inspirational women. The instructors are the most inspiring and encouraging individuals that I have ever come across. The women who I have talked with in class and became friends with all have different backgrounds and push me to attend class on a regular basis. And, the physical changes have been more than I could have ever imagined – such as the ability to do push-ups and to push myself through the final ten counts – it is truly a test to mind over matter.
This month – the manager of Pure Barre Wexford – even asked me to fill out some questions as student of the month. A student from the studio is featured in the newsletter that goes out monthly – which covers all the happenings in the studio from the past month.
You can check out the newsletter from July here – http://myemail.constantcontact.com/at-the-barre—july-2014.html?soid=1110435870794&aid=-Erqt7AhXTs
And if you don’t live near this location – I encourage you to look at your city and see if there is a Pure Barre studio close to you. A lot of studios even offer your first class free – although I will say it takes at least five classes to really understand class – and about ten classes to notice results!
So what are you waiting for?! Get out there and LTB – if you do try it – let me know what you think or you are a Pure Barre Veteran – let me know what your favorite part of class is – what changes you have seen!
